As she was lost in her thoughts, suddenly someone patted her on the shoulder.
“Hello Miss, good morning,” the person greeted her.
Rebecca turned around and found that a girl was standing behind her. She seemed to be in her twenties.
“Good morning. Which place is this? How did I come here?” Rebecca asked hesitantly. It was embarrassing enough not to know how she got into someone else’s house.
“Miss, last night our captain found you in an unconscious state and brought you here,” the girl replied politely.
“Yes, Captain Twink. I’m his assistant, Kate Morris, and I’ve been assigned to look after you today,” she then handed over a bag to her.

Rebecca was still pondering when suddenly her mobile rang.
Seeing the screen, she panicked. It was a call from James Pristino.

The other day, they had waited for the VP for a long time but got only a message from him saying he wouldn’t go to the office.
“Oh, Mr. Pristino, I’ll be there at 7:30. See you there,” she said, about to hang up the call when Mr. Pristino’s urgent voice came from the other side.
“Miss Martin, don’t come to the company. Give me your location, and I’ll pick you up on the way.”
“My location?” Rebecca was frightened. She herself didn’t know her current location. How could she let him know?
“Mr. Pristino, let’s meet at the City Centre at 7 o’clock,” she said and hung up the call.
